This Barbecue Baked Beans recipe (also sometimes referred to as Barbeque Baked Beans, BBQ

Beans, Baked Beans or simply Baked Beans) is a very easy side dish to make and goes wonderfully with any lunch or dinner barbecue dish or other meat dishes, including chicken, beef and pork. These beans are easy to pack up and take on a BBQ, picnic, party or any other event, and if you own a slow cooker or crock pot, can be kept warm for hours.

The leftovers can be frozen and easily re-heated in the microwave, so you can enjoy these baked beans for lunch or dinner anytime on a moment's notice.

Large bits of cooked bacon or chunks of ham

can also be added to these beans if preferred. Simply stir in about 1/2 to 1 cup of your preferred meat into the beans before baking.
