This is a great dish for those mornings you would like to have a delicious, hot meal without all the work. You prepare this dish the night before, store it in the refrigerator, and and simply pop it into the oven the following morning one hour before serving time. Relax and enjoy your guests and a cup of coffee while it cooks!

Ingredients

 

1 doz. eggs

1 lb. bulk sausage

1 sm. chopped can green chilies

2 pieces sourdough, cubed

2 C. shredded cheddar-jack cheese

1 onion, chopped into bite-size pieces

 

Directions

 

Brown sausage in skillet, breaking up into crumbs and bite-size pieces. In a large mixing bowl, lightly beat eggs. Add sausage and all other ingredients to eggs. Turn to a 9x13" casserole dish and cover with plastic wrap. Place in refrigerator overnight. Bake at 350°F for one hour.
