San Francisco Herb and Natural
Good Company began as a natural food store on Union Street in San
Francisco in 1969. Their store was a large Victorian flat
overlooking the San Francisco Bay. Using the kitchen as their lab
and tea formulating room, and the genius of the Golden Gate Bridge as
his inspiration, Barry Meltzer created his line of herbal teas.
From the early morning mists to the purple hued sunsets, he was a myriad
of subtle changes take place over the Bay- each view inspiring the
creation of a new tea. Soon he had a variety of different teas for
different times of the day. |
